The opportunities created by using the internet and online technology are immense, but also present new types of risk. Children and young peoples' lives are now integrally linked with being ‘online’ and all schools and acadmies have a statutory responsibility to safeguard them in all aspects of E-Safety.
The umbrella term E-Safety embodies all the things we need to consider to keep children safe in the digital world. This includes online safety, as well as using any form of digital technology for offline or online purposes.
This course will enable staff in schools and academies to gain an understanding of E-Safety and fulfil their statutory safeguarding duties.
